Mr. Keim had reached the allotted time of three score and ten. He learned carpentry in his early years and was employed fro a time in Pottstown, by his distant relative, Josiah Keim, contractor. In later years he engaged in farming. He was twice married, the first to Rebecca Haws and there were two children- Annie and Daniel; the second time to Sarah Ann Witman and three children were born to them; George, Harvey and H. Clay Keim, all of Warwick, the latter being a son- in-law of Col. M.M. Missimer, Pottstown.
