Born in Germany, Mrs. Kraft came to the United States 42 years ago, first settling in Philadelphia. Following her marriage, she moved to Phoenixville, residing on Hall Street. Later she lived in Kimberton and then returned to the borough. Her husband, William, died about 15 years ago. He had been employed as a butcher with the Weiland Packing Company. Mrs. Kraft was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Surviving are five sons: Charles, at home; Ernest, 335 Emmett Street, Matthew, Cromby; Thomas, 301 Emmett Street, and Martin, Kimberton Ibid: KRAFT- In Phoenixville Hospital, on February 27, 1952, Mary R., widow of William Kraft, aged 60 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at The Bishop Funeral Home, 310 Main St., on Saturday afternoon, March 1, at 2 o’clock. Interment at Zion’s Lutheran Cemetery.
