Deceased was the father of Mr. D.L. Landis, of the firm of Landis & Snell, Pottstown. He was a quiet, unobtrusive citizen, who possessed the esteem of a large circle of friends and relatives. His funeral will take place on Thursday, April 11th from the residence of his son in law, E. B. John, in North Coventry. Village Record, July 20, 1858 Notice to Teachers.- The county superintendent will hold an examination for teachers, at Warwick School House, Warwick Township, on Tuesday, the 27th of July at 10 o’clock. Teachers from adjoining townships desiring to be examined are requested to attend- Daniel Landis, Secretary of the Board of Directors.
