Moore, of Guthrieville, East Brandywine township, that Elisha (sic) Lindsley had been found dead in the orchard on James Dowlin’s property, in that township. Mr. Moore summoned the following jury: Elijah B. Thomas, William H. Garey, Randall Hadfield, Harry Plucher, George S. Lewis and Joseph England. The jury after being qualified viewed the body. A razor clutched in the dead man’s hand and a gash across his throat told the story of suicide, and the jury accordingly rendered a verdict of suicide. The deceased was 63 years of age. He was a laboring man and came to East Brandywine Township from Columbia about six years ago. He leaves a wife and six children. Relatives and family are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Services at the house. Interment at Hopewell Cemetery.
