ANNIE ELIZA LOOMIS On November 26, 1874 she married Nimrod Strickland Loomis, son of Jonathan and Sarah Knauer Loomis. To this union were born five daughters and one son. Her husband passed away in January 1931 and her son in November 1931. There remain one brother John S. Miller, of West Nantmeal and the following children: Mrs. James E Ebelhar, of Gelnmoore, who has so faithfully and lovingly cared for her; Mrs. John A. Oehme, of Coastesville; Mrs. Frank T. Buller, of Scranton; Mrs. Daniel K. Stiteler, Elverson; Mrs. Leroy T Beard, of Glenmoore; also six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Loomis – In Glenmoore, on August 3rd, Annie E., wife of the late Nimrod S. Loomis in the 83rd year of her age. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. James Ebelhar, Glen Moore, on Monday, August 7, Meet at the house at 1:30 p.m. D.S.T. Services in Glenmoore M. E. Church at 2:30. Interment in adjoining Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday evening. Mrs. Annie Eliza Loomis, wife of the late Nimrod S. Loomis, of Glenmoore, passed away at 11:30 o'clock last night, at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James E. Ebelhar, where she had made her home since January of this year. Mrs. Loomis was a daughter of John Caswell and Elizabeth Shafer Miller. She was born in West Nantmeal, August 17, 1856. Early in life she united with the Goodwill Methodist Church and since the family moved to Chester County from New Holland in 1898 she has been a consistent member of that denomination in Glenmoore
