Loomis, 89, widower of Lora (Garvine) Loomis, Nantmeal Village, Glenmoore RD 1, died Wednesday at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Home, Narvon, where he was a guest for the past 14 months. Born in Nantmeal Village, he was a son of the late Charles A. and Emma H. (Prizer) Loomis. Mr. Loomis lived all his life in Nantmeal Village. He was an army veteran of World War I. For twenty years he was employed as a tinsmith for Charles A. Garvine and was last employed by Dana Corp., Pottstown, where he worked for 20 years. He retired from Dana in 1962. Mr. Loomis was a member of the Nantmeal United Methodist Church, where he was a former trustee. Surviving is a son Charles S., Nantmeal Village. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday from Nantmeal United Methodist Church. The Rev. Bertram Brandreth, church pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The J. Roger Cattermole Funeral Home, Royersford is in charge of arrangements. Loomis – On Wednesday June 27, 1984, Allen J. Loomis, husband of the late Lora (Garvine) Loomis, of Nantmeal Village, Glenmoore, RD 1, Pa., age 89 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services from Nantmeal Village, on Saturday, June 30, 1984 at 11 a.m. Interment in the adjoining Church Cemetery. There will be no viewing. (Cattermole
