LORA LOOMIS SERVICES SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY
 
Funeral services for Mrs. Lora (Garvine) Loomis, 80, wife of Allen J. Loomis, 
Nantmeal Village, East Nantmeal Township, will be 2 p.m. Friday from the J. 
Roger Cattermole Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford.
 
The Rev. Bertram Brandreth, pastor of East Nantmeal United Methodist Church, 
will officiate.
 
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
 
Mrs. Loomis died Monday night in Manatawny Manor, where she was a guest 18 
months.  She was ill the past five years.
 
Born in Nantmeal Village, Mrs. Loomis was a daughter of the late Charles A. 
and Carrie (High) Garvine.
 
Mrs. Loomis was a member of East Nantmeal United Methodist Church and was 
organist and choir director of the church for 60 years.
 
She also was a member of the United Methodist Women's Organization and Willing 
Workers.
Surviving with her widower are a son, Charles S., Nantmeal Village, and a sister, 
Martha E., Nantmeal Village.
 
Loomis – On Monday, November 17, 1980, Lora (Garvine) Loomis, wife of Allen J. 
Loomis, of Nantmeal Village, Pa., age 80 years.  Relatives and friends are 
invited to the services from the J. Roger Cattermole Funeral Home, 600 Washington 
Street, Royersford, on Friday, November 21 at 2 p.m.  Interment in East Nantmeal 
United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Friends will be received Friday, 1 to 2 p.m. 
at the funeral home.  If desired, contributions may be made in her memory to 
East Nantmeal United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, c/o Mrs. Edward P. Loomis,
