Loomis 79 of Glenmoore, passed away at his home after a brief illness. Loomis had been employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad for many years. Daily Local West Chester, Pennsylvania January 22, 1931 NIMROD S LOOMIS Nimrod S. Loomis aged 79 years passed away at his home at Glenmoore on Thursday afternoon last after a few days illness. For many years he was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad but had been retired for some time. He was a member of the Glenmoore Methodist Church; Mt. Pickering lodge No. 446 F. & A. M. and of Washington Camp No. 40, Patriotic Order Sons of America. He is survived by his widow who was Annie Miller before her marriage. And the following children: Mrs. James E. Ebelhar, Mrs. Roy Beard and Elmer Loomis of Glen Moore; Mrs. John A. Oehme, of Harrisburg Mrs. Frank Buller, of West Grove; and Mrs. Daniel Steitler, of Elverson. There are five grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the late home with further services in the Glenmoore Methodist Church, the Rev. E. Richard, in charge. Interment was made in the Glenmoore Cemetery.
