DIED- on Thursday night, 29th December, ult., in the 84th year of her age, 
MARTHA LOVE, widow of the late Thomas Love, Esq. after having lived as one of 
the most affectionate wives, with one of the best of husbands upwards of 58 
years.  She, like her worthy husband, was mild and amiable in her manners, and 
like him was a meek and humble follower of the meek and lowly Jesus-  In her 
last illness, like him also, she was exceedingly patient and resigned.  With 
reference to both, it may be said with much emphasis, “Blessed are the dead 
who die in the Lord, from henceforth, yea, saith the spirit, that they may 
rest from their labors, and their works do follow them.”
