MRS. ELIZABETH S. LUMIS

Mrs. Elizabeth S. Lumis, 85 widow of Smith Watkin Lumis, Birchrunville, 
died Monday afternoon in Pottstown Hospital, where she had been a patient 
for the past 12 days. She had been in poor health for the past three years.

Born in Pottstown, daughter of the late Charles J. and Margueretta Scheib, 
Mrs. Lumis had resided in Birchrunville nearly all her life. She was a 
member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Oliver Howe, Birchrunville, and Mrs. 
William F. Lamb Sr., Pottstown; a son, Harold, Birchrunville; four 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Lumis – In Pottstown, on Monday January 1, 1951, Elizabeth S. widow of 
Smith Watkin Lumis, aged 85 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at the Nelson 
Funeral Home, 331 New Street, Spring City, on Friday, January 5, at 2 
o'clock.

Interment in St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
