He had been in all health for three years. Mr. Lumis was the son of the late Thomas S. and Sarah (Hipple) Lumis, of Birchrunville, and had lived in that vicinity all his life. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and a former member of the school board for 18 years. Surviving are the widow Elizabeth, and three children; Marguerite, wife of Oliver B. Howe, Brichrunville; Helen, wife of William F. Lamb, Pottstown, and Harold Lumis, Birchrunville. Funeral services will be conducted at 331 New Street, Spring City, Tuesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services without further notice from the Kimes and Nelson Funeral Home, 331 New Street, Spring City, on Tuesday, March 21, 1944, at 2 p.m. Interment in St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 7 to 9.
