Mrs. J MacDonald- Mrs. Caroline Savidge MacDonald, widow of the late Joshua 
MacDonald, died at her home, 22 South Sixth Avenue, yesterday in her 89th year.  
She had been in failing health for some time.

Mrs. MacDonald, a daughter of the late Frederick S. and Rachel Lambertson 
Savidge, was born in Northumberland County.  She had been a resident of 
Coatesville for the past 59 years and was widely known here.  She was a member 
of Olivet Methodist Church.

Surviving her are three sons and a daughter:  Frank C. MacDonald, of West Wood; 
Ernest P. MacDonald of Coatesville; J. Clayton MacDonald of Omaha, Neb.; and 
Miss Elma MacDonald, of Coatesville, with whom she made her home.  She also 
leaves two brothers and two sisters: Ralph Savidge, Mrs. Olive Deibert and Mrs. 
Harriet Schreffler, al of Sunbury, PA. And William Savidge, of Riverside, PA.

The funeral will take place from her late home on Thursday at 2 ‘clock.  
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Friends have been invited to call on 
Wednesday evening.
