McDonald, in the 2nd year of his age. Relatives and friends of the family, also Jr. OUAM, Knights of the Golden Eagle and West End Fire Co., No. 3, are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from his late residence 708 East Chestnut Street, Coatesville, on Saturday July 19, 1919. Meet at the house at 2:30pm. Interment at Fairview. Joshua C. MacDonald: In his 63d year, Joshua C. MacDonald, floor boss of the tube mill ever since the mill was operated, died at his home, 708 East Chestnut Street, this city, yesterday. He had been ill since last February, when he underwent an operation. He was a member of the Knights of the Golden Eagle, Jr. OUAM, West End Fire Company and the M.E. Church. He is survived by a widow and four children: Frank, Valley Road; Ernest, in the accounting Department, Harrisburg; Clayton and Elma, a home; also these brothers and sisters, Charles and John, Chester; Frank, New Castle, Del, Mrs. John Crother, Frankford; Mrs. Davis Bates, Chester. (Researcher’s note: OUAM = Order of United American Mechanics. Chester is a reference to a town in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, just south of Philadelphia. The various spellings of the surname are as appears in the obituary)
