Relatives and friends of the family, also Elizabeth Temple Post, No. 138 Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.), are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from the residence of his son-in-law, near West Grove, on Sunday, January 17, 1909. Services at the First Baptist Church, West Grove, at 12 o'clock. Interment at Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square, Pa. Additional Comments: Uriah Martin was the son of Charles and Sarah Johnson-Martin. He was born in Chester County Pennsylvania (August 8, 1835); and served in the 41st United States Colored Troops, Co. B, from Lancaster County. He was the husband of Tamyzine Ann Page-Martin, who preceded him in death.
