He resided in Coleraine township,Lancaster county. The deceased was 76 years old, and had been in broken health for many months. Death followed an attack of Bright's disease. He was a son of Cochran and Catharine (Lynd)McClenaghan and was born at Pine Grove, Lower Oxford side, Chester County. When a young man he accompanied the Scott's of Little Britian to the gold fields of California and Washington. Remaining about a year. Mr. McClenaghan returned home and engaged in farming. In his prime he possessed great strength and endurance. He attended to his own affairs was a good neighbor and citizen. Three sisters survive; Mrs. Ann Jane Millenr of New Freedom, Pa.,; Mrs.Mrs, Rachel Fox, Castle Fin, Pa.,; and Miss Sallie McClenaghan at home. The funeral takes place on Saturday, March 26, at 10:30 a.m. Service at the house and interment in Union cemetery.
