He had been in apparent health until lately when he was taken ill. Death was due to heart disease. The deceased was sixty-six years of age and was well known and highly respected in the community, having resided here the greater part of his life. He was a member of the G.A.R Post of Honeybrook, and was also an Odd Fellow. He is survived by two sons, Sydney, of Camden, N.J., and Prof. Ira D. McCord, residing near here, also two sisters, Mrs. Mary A. Bull, of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Emma Jefferis, of Wynnewood; one half sister, Minnie, at home, and three half brothers, Hervey and Warren residing here and Clinton P. McCord of Philadelphia. The funeral services will be held on Monday in the Methodist Church here. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
