McCord, who retired last May as Camden City comptroller after being in the employ of the city for 36 years, died last Friday in Reading Hospital. He was 75 years old. Mr. McCord, a native of Reading, lived in Elverson, Pa., since his retirement. He had been ill about a year. Surviving are four sons, Heber, Camden Detective; Merritt, of Moorestown; Sidney P., Jr., Camden attorney; and Charles W., a teacher at Mercersburg, and two daughters, Mrs. William Hartman, Elverson, and Mrs. Mary Acton, of Georgia. The funeral was held Monday at Camden, followed by interment at Elverson.
