Gerald “Jerry” Francis McGrath
Age: 72
Residence: West Chester
Date of Death: Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001
Place of Death: Chester County Hospital
Place of Birth: Philadelphia
Parents: late John McGrath and Anna Scheerer McGrath.
Education: St. John the Baptist High School in Philadelphia and 
           attended West Chester State College. 
Military: Corporal with the U.S. Marine Corps, and also reserved 
          with the U.S. Navy Reserve.  He was stationed in Hawaii.
Occupation: Quality control manager with the U.S. Post Office in southeastern 
            Tredyffrin, retiring in 1995 after 30 years.  
Religion: St. Agnes’ Church in West Chester
Memberships: 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and was 
             a member of the VFW Post of Ocean City, Md.
Survived by: His wife, a son, four daughters, three brothers, two sisters
             and nine grandchildren.
Funeral: St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St., West Chester
Interment: St. Agnes Cemetery.
Funeral Arrangements: DellaVecchia, Reilly & Smith Funeral Home, 410 N. 
                      Church St., West Chester.
