Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of Jacob G. Mikl, Jr., of Phoenixville and the late Evelyn M. Greer Mikl. He was a graduate of the former Northern Chester County Technical School, class of 1976. He had lived in Exton for 13 years and was a member of SS Philip & James Catholic Church in Exton. He was employed as a truck driver for Bob’s Towing Service in Lionville. Prior to that he had worked for BFI in West Chester. In addition to his father, he is survived by three sisters, Donna M. Snyder Lindley of Honey Brook, Evelyn Lynn Krynski of Pottstown and Marlene M. Daly of Alymer, Quebec, 14 nephews and nieces and six great nephews and nieces. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at SS Philip & James Church, 701 E. Lincoln Highway in Exton. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 10:45a.m. Friday at the church. Entombment will be in St. Agnes Mausoleum in West Chester. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society of America, 3401 Pennsylvania Ave., Suite D-1, Philadelphia, Pa. 19130. Arrangements are being handled by the Devlin-Rosmos-Kepp Funeral Home, Inc., of Phoenixville. Additional Comments: Obituary submitted without abstraction with permission of the family.
