Coatesville Record, April 24,1933

"JOHN S.MILLER

  John S.Miller died on Saturday at the home of his daughter, 
Mrs. Ada A. Davis, 113 Pennsylvania avenue following an illness 
of 3 months from complications. He was in his 79th year.

  Mr.Miller had lived in Coatesville for many years and was 
very well known. He is survuved by eight children as follows: 
Mrs. Elizabeth Marshall, of Wagontown; Mrs. Ada A.Davis, of 
Coatesville; Mrs. Cora Zeel  (ZELL), of Coatesville; Harry A.
Miller, of Sparrow's Point; William R. Miller, Chester A.Miller 
and Mrs. Jennie C. Woodward, of Coatesville; and J.Willis Miller, 
of Altoona. He also has twenty-one grandchildren and fifteen 
great grandchildren.

    The funeral will be held from the residence of his daughter 
on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in 
Fairview Cemetery."
