Coatesville Record, April 24,1925

"MRS.RACHEL MILLER

 Mrs. Rachel Miller, wife of John S.Miller, died shortly 
after midnight last night at the home of her son-in-law, 
Harry Davis, 121  Pennsylvania avenue. Mrs. Miller was in 
her seventy-second year. She had been an invalid for eleven 
years and on several occasions during the past year her 
condition had been critical.

   Mrs.Miller had lived in Catesville for about ten years 
and was well known. Previously, the family lived on a farm 
near Compass. Besides her husband, who is very ill at the 
present time, Mrs. Miller is survived by nine children, 
including her daughter,Mrs.Davis, with whom she lived. The 
funeral will be private on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock 
with interment in Fairview Cemetery."
