MOORE, aged 80 years. Relative and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from her late residence, on Thursday July 18. Services at the house at 11 o'clock a.m. Interment at Hopewell M. E. Cemetery. Yesterday afternoon about three o'clock, Mrs. Eliza J. MOORE died at her home, in Guthrieville. Eliza J. MOORE was eighty years of age. Her late husband, George L. MOORE, died in 1889. Up to within a few months she had been in fair health, and on the day her son, George, was elected Superintendent of the public Schools of Chester County, she was present to enjoy victory with him. She leaves a number of sons and daughters, their names being, David A., Justice of the Peace in Guthrieville; Alexander, of Philadelphia; J. William, of Marshallton; Harry, of Berwyn, who holds a position in Broad Street Station, Philadelphia; Sarah J., wife of Joseph HORNE, Philadelphia, and Margaret, the faithful nurse and housekeeper at home. Mrs. MOORE was a sister of James HAMILTON, the noted marine artist, who pictured on canvas a famous scene from his friend, Charles Dickens' writings, "What are the wild waves saying?"
