Coatesville Record, May 14, 1934

James R. Moore

James Richard Moore died Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John 
McLaughlin, 322 Harmony Street, in his 73rd year.  He had been ailing for 
seven years past and had been seriously ill for some time.

Mr. Moore was well known in Coatesville where he was engaged in business for 
years.  Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Emma Moore and the following sons and 
daughters:  George E. L. Moore, Mrs. Cora Miller, Mrs. Minnie McLaughlin, 
William J. Moore, Mrs. Elsie E. Harris, Harry W. Moore and Charles D. Moore, 
all of Coatesville.  He also has a brother, Andrew Moore, of Lancaster.

The funeral will take place from the home of his daughter on Wednesday 
afternoon at 1 o’clock (DST).  Further services will be held at the Mennonite 
Mission here at 2 o’clock.  Interment will be made in Fairview Cemetery.
