All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ Daily Local West Chester, Pennsylvania July 5, 1941 Benjamin Herbert Mosteller, Jr., 39-year-old employee of the Downingtown Iron Works, died in the Chester County Hospital, here, at 9 o'clock last night, from injuries received a week ago when a heavy iron beam struck him in the abdomen while at work. An emergency operation performed shortly after he was admitted to the hospital last Friday, failed to save his life. Mr. Mosteller was born in this county, a son of the late Benjamin H. Mosteller, and had been making his home with J. Emmor Green, at Green Hill. His mother, who is seriously ill in a Malvern nursing home survives, as does also his wife, Miss Gladys Ludwick, and their children Benjamin Herbert 3rd, Doris, Marvin and Barbara Ann. A brother David also survives. The deceased was a member of the Fellowship Club, of Downingtown, and had a host of friends.
