Mr. Mosteller, who was in his sixty-fourth year, had been seriously ill only two weeks. He was a life-long resident of Pickering Valley; having been born on a farm which is now a part of the Janney estate. He was the son of the late Preston and Sarah Mosteller. For more than 30 years Mr. Mosteller conducted a concession at the Famous Reading Terminal Market, Philadelphia. He specialized in poultry, eggs, butter and fresh meats, and was a wholesaler of calves. Because of his health he gave up the Philadelphia branch of his business last year, but continued to conduct his Chester Springs wholesale market for several months. In January of this year he disposed of the business to Harvey Beard, who had been his assistant. Mr. Mosteller was one of the most influential men in the Chester Springs section and for years was a trustee of Vincent Baptist Church. His wife Florence (nee Harry) Mosteller and a son, Harry, at home, survive. A sister, Mrs. Elmer Miller, Chester Springs, also survives. A brother Horace died some years ago. Funeral services will be held at his late residence Thursday afternoon at two o'clock and interment will be in Vincent Baptist Cemetery.
