Henry Mosteller passed away quietly at his home in West Vincent Township last 
evening, at the age of about 68. The deceased was born and spent all his life on 
a farm which his father owned before him. And into the possession of which he 
came many years ago. The deceased was the son of Henry and Elizabeth Mosteller, 
and was one of a numerous family. The children of Henry and Elizabeth Mosteller 
were eleven in number, eight sons, and three daughters. The sons were Abraham, 
John, Jacob, Henry, Samuel, Benjamin, Joseph and William and the daughters, Mary 
Ann, Sarah, and Margaret. Long years ago the deceased married a daughter of 
William and Catherine Shimer. Their married life was happy and blessed. Mrs. 
Mosteller survives her husband, as do also three daughters, Hannabell, who is 
married to R. R. Lumis; Ellen, married to Sherwood Holman, of Chester Springs, 
and Emma, unmarried, who has continued to reside at home.
