MOSTELLER, 70, Chester Springs former Chester County rural mail carrier, died yesterday afternoon at 3:40 o’clock, following an illness of two weeks, attributed to complications. Mr. Mosteller died in the home of Miss Mattie Kunkel by whom he was employed in a general store. For many years previous he was a rural mail carrier at Chester Springs and later at Honey Brook. He was born in West Vincent Township, son of William K. and Annie Mosteller and was unmarried. He was a member of St. Mathew’s Reformed Church and Chester Springs P O S of A lodge. There survive two brothers Park, Kimberton, and Chester, Chester Springs. Funeral services will be held in St. Mathew’s Reformed Church Monday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Mosteller, a former rural mail carrier and in latter years assistant postmaster at Chester Springs, passed away after a lingering illness. He was 70. Mosteller a native of the Birchrunville section had resided in Chester Springs for more than 30 years. He was a clerk in the store of M. S. Kunkle. Mosteller was a son of the late William K. and Annie Mosteller and was unmarried. He was a member of Chester Springs Camp, P. O. S. of A., and St. Matthew's Reformed Church. He served as a rural mail carrier at Chester Springs and later in the Honey Brook section, before becoming assistant postmaster and a clerk at the Kunkle General Store. He is survived by two brothers, Park Mosteller, and Chester, of Chester Springs. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at St. Matthew's Reformed Church.
