Jacob Mosteller died at his home at Ludwig's Corner, Chester County, on Tuesday 
of infirmities of old age. He was 72 years old. Mr. Ludwig conducted the general 
store at Ludwig's Corner for the past forty-one years. The farmers for miles 
around dealt at his store and before the days of rural free delivery and the 
rural telephone. It was one of the noted places of northern Chester County. Mr. 
Mosteller is survived by his widow and seven children. They are Minnie wife of 
David Hawthorne of Wayne, Margaret living at home, Lillian wife of Calvin 
Stauffer of Reading, Allen of South Bethlehem, Morris of Rose Mount, Herman at 
home and Charles of New York. He was a member of Nantmeal Valley M E Church. 
Funeral on Friday at 11:00 o'clock. Services will be held at the house and the 
interment will be made at St. Andrews Cemetery.
