She had been ill about five weeks. Miss Mosteller was a daughter of Abram Mosteller, of West Pikeland, and her birth occurred in that township, but for one period of fifty-one years she had been living in this borough. She belonged to the Lutheran Church but as there is no church of that denomination here, she worshiped with the First Baptist congregation to which her relatives belonged. She was by marriage a niece of the late Eber Anderson with whom she made her home until his death. He was survived by his brother Joseph who when he died a decade or more ago left an estate of $100,000 to be distributed by Miss Mosteller and Wilmer E Pennypacker who placed it among various charities under the will of the testator and were directed that they need not account for it. The funds were quietly disposed of and only the recipients of the benevolence knew where it went. Miss Mosteller was possessed of independent means besides this and she was noted for her kindness and charity. She leaves several cousins but no brother nor sisters.
