She fell several weeks ago and hurt her arm. The injury developed into erysipelas, which caused her death. She was visiting her niece, Mrs. Mary Dempsey in Norristown and her body was brought to Oxford today on the morning train, and taken to Cochranville, where interment was made in the Methodist Cemetery. The deceased was for many years a resident of Oxford and it was only two years since upon the death of her daughter, Mrs. Kate Brown who was blind, that she began going around among her grandchildren to make her home. Her maiden name was Devote, and she was born in Phoenixville. Many years ago she married Anthony Mosteller of Oxford. They located in Cochranville where he engaged in farming. Later they came to Oxford where he died long ago. Mrs. Mosteller is survived by one son Wayne Mosteller of Fremont, four other sons having died. She was considered a remarkable woman and her wonderful strength caused much comment when she was taking care of her daughter and doing all the work of a large establishment.
