MOSTELLER Wilmer F. Mosteller, 46, well-known Spring City barber, died suddenly Monday afternoon of a heart attack at his home, 23 N. Main Street. Mr. Mosteller was stricken at 11 o'clock shortly after leaving Pottstown where he had been on a business trip with a son, Robert. His death followed at 2:10 o'clock. Mr. Mosteller had had several attacks in past years but had never suffered any serious effects from them. Dr. J. G. Ross was summoned and pronounced him dead. Mr. Mosteller had been engaged in the barber business nearly all his life. He learned his trade from Benjamin H. Quay, who operated a tonsorial parlor in Spring City many years ago. Mr. Mosteller later worked in Pottstown, Stowe, Parkerford and Eagle. He returned to Spring City some years ago and opened his present shop. He was an ardent Republican and was active in politics. He was born in East Vincent Township near Spring City, a son of Mrs. Irene Mosteller and the late Jesse K. Mosteller. He was a member of the Orioles, Pottstown, Stowe Fire Company, and the Liberty Fire Company, of Spring City. Surviving him are his wife, Mayme (Taglieber) Mosteller; the following children, Irene, wife of Joseph Carfango, Abrams; Robert, Josephine, Herbert, and Jane, at home; a grandson, his mother and two brothers, Daniel Mosteller, Spring City and Roy Mosteller, Spring City. Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock in the funeral home at 331 New Street, Spring City. Interment was made in Oak Grove Cemetery, Parkerford.
