His death was due to the 85th year. His death was due to the infirmities of old age. The deceased was a farmer and all his life resided in West Vincent Township, where he was a large property owner. His wife, Sarah, whose maiden name was Mosteller, died several years ago. Three children survive him; Hon Frank Ralston, who served one term in the Legislature, having been elected on the Fusion ticket; Mrs. Clifford Emery of Birchrunville, and William who lives on the home farm as does Frank, the eldest son. The deceased was a Democrat in politics, but was never an office holder. He belonged to the Episcopal Church, and was an upright, virtuous and good citizen. Ralston – In West Vincent Township, Chester County, Pa, on January 8 1905, William Ralston aged 84 years 4 months and 21 days. The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral without further notice from the late residence on Friday January 13 1905. To leave the house at 11 o'clock a m. Services in St Andrews Episcopal Church,. Interment in adjoining cemetery. Carriages will meet 9:30 a m train at Chester Spring Station. Daily Local West Chester Pennsylvania January 14 1905 The funeral of William Ralston late of West Vincent took place yesterday, a large number of relatives and friends being present. The day was cold and disagreeable, but several of those present were from a considerable distance. Services were conducted by Rev E C Suit, pastor of St Paul's and St Matthew's Churches, and Rev Mr Schnering, pastor of Vincent Baptist Church. Interment was made at St Andrew's Episcopal Cemetery. Bearers were Jonah McAfee, George R Ralston, Clinton K Mosteller, Abram Mosteller Jr, John W Orr, and Joseph Aikens, West Chester was represented at the funeral by ex-Postmaster and Mrs. Lewis C Moses and Mr and Mrs. Clinton K Mosteller
