Daily Local News, April 29, 1908 Funeral  The funeral of Charles Reason, an 
infant son of Mr. And Mrs. William Reason, who died on Saturday very suddenly, 
took place yesterday afternoon.  The services were held at the home of the 
child’s parents at 10 o‘clock and wr (sic) in charg (sic) of the Rev. Joseph 
Lowrey, pastor of  the Lindley Hill AME Church, who spoke in loving remembrance 
of the little one.  Interment was made at Lindley Hill Cemetery.

Daily Local News April 1908, REASON- suddenly, in West Whiteland, on Saturday 
April 25th, Charles, infant son of Wm. And Anna Reason, aged 1 year.  Relatives 
and friends are invited to attend the funeral from his parents’ residence on 
Tuesday April 28th.  Services at the house at 1 o’clock p.m.  Interment at 
Lindley Hill Cemetery.
