Reeder, of Indian King. She was 75 years of age. Until Monday, when Mrs. Reeder was taken ill with pneumonia, she had been enjoying good health. Mrs. Reeder was the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Glenn, of this place and at one time her grandfather owned the property now owned by the Misses DeHaven on North Church Street. The house in which Mrs. Glenn died was once known as the Old Indian King Hotel and was owned by Mrs. Reeder’s great grandfather, Benjamin Himes. She is survived by six sons and two daughters: Levi, of Akron, Ohio; William T., of West Chester; Samuel, who lives in Iowa; Curtis H., of Indian King; George, of Pittsburgh, and Addison of Lichen Valley; Mrs. William T. Jones, of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Dietrich of Philadelphia. One sister, Mrs. Hannah E. Cully, of Morton, Delaware County, also survives her The funeral will take place from the home of her son, Curtis Wednesday at 2 o’clock p.m. Interment at Oaklands Cemetery. West Chester Star, December 2, 1913 REEDER- On November 30, 1913, Catherine G., widow of Gerhard Reeder, in the 76th year of her age. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from he residence of her son, Curtis H. H. (sic) Reeder, at Indian King, West Whiteland Township, on Wednesday, December 3d. Meet at the house at 2 o’clock p.m. Interment at Oaklands Cemetery. Daily Local News, December 4, 1913 Funerals- Yesterday afternoon the funeral Catherine G., widow of Gerhard Reeder, took place from the residence of her son, Curtis H. Reeder, at Indian King, West Whiteland Township, and was well attended by relatives and friends of the deceased, for many years a resident of West Chester and well known here. Rev. Mr. Zook, pastor of the Grove M.E. Church, spoke at the house and also at the grave, giving good advice to his hearers to be ready for the final summons. The interment was made at Oaklands Cemetery.
