Mrs. John Ritter, of West Goshen Township, after an illness of many years, died 
last evening.  She was in the 57th year of her age.  She is survived by her 
husband and three children, Mrs. Lewis Hutton, of West Chester. Mrs. John 
MacDonald, who lived with her mother, and John Ritter, Jr., of West Chester.

Mrs. Eva Ritter, wife of John H. Ritter, died at 3:30 o’clock Monday 
afternoon.  She leaves a husband, John H. Ritter, and nine children: Mary 
Ritter, Walter Ritter, Charles Ritter, Mrs. Lewis Hutton, Edward Ritter, Mrs. 
John MacDonald, Ida B. Ritter and Robert Ritter.  Alto(sic) two brothers, 
Harvey Jamison, West Chester and Giles Jamison, Nottingham, and one sister, 
Mrs. Elwood Young, of West Chester.  She will be buried from the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Lewis Hutton, South Matlack Street.  Meet at the house at 2 
o’clock.  Interment at Greenmount Cemetery.
