Residence:   Media, born and raised in Thornton
Occupation:  Manager of the hardware department at Snowden's Department Store 
             for more than 40 years, retiring in 1976.
Memberships: Member of George Bartram F&AM 298, a charter member of the High 
             Twelve 280, a longtime member to the Media Fire Co., Loyal Order of 
             the Moose, Veterans of Foreign Wars Home Association, the Delaware 
             County Old Timers Association, the Media Old Timer's Association, a 
             charter member of Media Republican Club, and was active with the 
             American Association of Retired Persons.
Spouse:      late RUTH YOUNG, died in 1984.
Survived by: Daughter, DORIS FINK; son, RALPH L.; five grandchildren; and eight 
             great-grandchildren.
Funeral:     Rigby, Harting, and Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E. 4th St., Media.
Interment:   Brandywine Baptist Cemetery, Concord.
