E. Elmer Sands, 86 husband of Mary E. (Thomas) Sands, died in Philadelphia 
yesterday.  He was born in Warwick, Chester County, and lived in this vicinity 
until five years ago.  He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Pottstown. 
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Richard of Pottstown, and two 
grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at 
Christ Episcopal Church by the Rev. Delaine E. Story.  Interment will be in 
Parkerford Baptist Cemetery.
