She belonged to St. Agnes Catholic Church. Seven children survive here: Anna, wife of William Gray; Agnes, Katie, Lott; Nell, wife of William Calhoun; Paul and William. One grandchild is living at home, Benjamin Stratton Saucerman, aged 14 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from her late residence, 311 Washington St., on Friday, December 27. Meet at the house at 9 o’clock. High mass at St. Agnes Church at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Agnes Cemetery. Daily Local News December 26, 1918 Mrs. John Saucerman Mary, wife of John Saucerman, and daughter of Michael and Mary Lawler, died at the age of 57 years at her home, 311 Washington St, this place, on Tuesday, December 24th. She was a devoted wife and kind and loving mother. The deceased was a consistent member of St. Agnes R.C. Church, she being a member of the Altar Society of that Church. These children survive, besides her husband, Mrs. William J. Gray, William and Paul, West Chester; Mrs. Louise Knelling, Salem, NJ, Mrs. Ed. Fenelly, Norristown; Mrs. David Calhoun, Chester, Mrs. Charles McNally, Claymont, DE. Daily Local News December 28, 1918 Many friends and relatives yesterday attended the funeral of Mrs. John Saucerman, which took place at her late residence. Mass was said at St. Agnes’ Catholic Church by Rev. James E. Heir and interment was at St. Agnes’ Cemetery. There were man flowers including designs from the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Loyal Order of Moose. Pall bearers were William J. Gray, Lewis C. Nellings, Salem NJ, Edward J. Fenelly, Norristown; David C. Calhoun, Chester, Charles McNelly, Claymont, De; Thomas Redmond, Sr., West Chester. Mr. Redmond is a cousin and the other five are sons-in-law of Mrs. Saucerman.
