Davis Savage, a leading citizen of the Northern part of Chester county, died yesterday morning, about 7 o'clock, at his home in East Coventry township, about three miles from Pottstown. His age was 61 years, 1 month and 7 days; he was the son of the late Zenas Savage, of Chester County; a brother of Washington Savage, died many years ago, (his widow, Mrs. Charlotte Savage, lives in Pottstown,) and a brother of Mrs. Elias Swartley, of this place. The wife of the deceased,[sic Aquilla] who is a daughter of Squire Benjamin Harley, survives him, and there are three living children - Rebecca, wife of Christian Miller, of Seattle, State of Washington; Carrie, wife of Elwood A.
