Mr. Savage made his home with his cousin, Reuben Geist of Manatawny St., near the borough limits. Yesterday morning he led his horse into town and purchased a sleigh. It was while he was driving home with the outfit that he was stricken. Deceased was a native of Parkerford, Chester Co., but moved to Cedar Falls Iowa in the 70's. This was his first trip East since that time, while members of his family never made the trip. Among his survivors are the following cousins: Mrs. Norace Hatfield, Mrs. Howard Missunia, David Harley, of Pottstown Mrs. Samuel Wood, Mrs. Richard Burrows, of Manayunk. one daughter - Mrs. Mary Wickham of Jackson, Michigan. these brothers and sisters: David Savage, Cedar Falls, Iowa Nathanial Savage, D D No 1, Hurton, Iowa Mrs. Hattie Nelson, New Hartford, Iowa Mrs. Charles Williams, Sioux City, Iowa Funeral Director, Herbert R Houck, took charge of the remains, but arrangements for funeral will not be completed until word is received from relatives in the West. Additional Comments: Daniel SAVAGE was son of Elhannon SAVAGE and Sophia LACHMAN (of Pottsgrove). He is buried in Pottstown Cemetery, West End.
