Edison M. Scofield

Edison Mason Scofield, retired president of the Scofield Engineering Company, 
with offices in the Commercial Trust Building, Philadelphia, died Thursday, in 
Los Angeles, where he had lived for the past 15 years.  He was 70.  He was a 
graduate from Union College.  During the more than 25 years he was in business 
in Philadelphia, he lived near Malvern.  He is survived by his widow, Ethel; a 
daughter, Alberta, and a brother, Lyn Scofield, all of Los Angeles.  Funeral 
services and burial will take place in Los Angeles today.
