Mrs. Frederick J. Scott passed away early this morning at her home, 313 South 
High Street, West Chester, after an illness of several weeks, the result of a 
fractured hip.  Mary Adelaide Winton was born in Layfayette, Indiana, April 
20th, 1843; at an early age she moved with her parents to Burlington, Iowa, 
where she spent the greater part of her life.  She was married to Frederick J. 
Scott, April 10th, 1867, who preceded her March 1928.  Mrs. Scott is survived 
by her daughters, Mrs. Eunice S. Pratt, of Wichita, Kansas, the Misses 
Katherine H and Ada Louise Scott, of West Chester; also her grand children, 
Mrs. J.J. Jackson, Jr, of Torresdale, Pa., and Frederick N. Pratt of Wichita, 
Kansas.
