Shaner, an old and highly respected citizen of North Coventry, died on Wednesday morning, at the residence of his son-in-law, Addison Evans, in South Pottstown. His disease was asthma and ailments resulting from advanced age. Mr. Shaner was a tinsmith and followed that occupation until prostrated by illness two or three weeks ago. His wife survives him and there are six children: Enos and Daniel Shaner, of Cedarville; Mrs. Eber Amole and Mrs. Davis Bealer, of North Coventry; Mrs. Addison Evans and Mrs. Edward Rambo, of South Pottstown. William H. Shaner, a son died a few years ago. Amos Shaner, of Cedarville, and Christopher Shaner, of North Coventry, are brothers of Daniel Shaner. His age was 76 years, 2 months and 3 days.
