Montgomery Ledger, August 23, 1892
Mary Shaner, in her 74th year, widow of Daniel S. Shaner, died Monday morning,
at the residence of her son-in-law, Addison Evans, of South Pottstown. Her
disease was old age and other ailments. She leaves five children - Enos and
Daniel Shaner, of Cedarville; Ella, wife of Addison Evans, and Elizabeth, wife
of Edward Rambo, South Pottstown, and Mrs. Eber Amole, North Coventry. The
funeral will take place on Thursday, leave the house at 11 a.m.; interment at
Shenkel's Church.
