Daily Republican, May 15, 1961

William Slobodzian, age 78, died in the St. Petersburg, Fla. Hospital after a 
short illness.

Born in Austria Hungary, he came to this country at the age of 19.  He was a 
butcher by trade and proprietor of numerous hotels, being located at Kimberton 
for many years.

He is survived by the following children, Alice, wife of Theo Nowicki; Jennie, 
wife of George Nelson; Joseph of Wayne, and Leon, of Kimberton.  Burial was in 
St. Petersburg, Fla.
