M.R., October 11, 1898
SMALE.  Suddenly, near Doe Run, on Saturday, Maud E., daughter of William and 
Ella Smale, aged ten years. 




Additional Comments:
Parents - Wm H Smale and Elmina (Ella) Zerfass Smale
Maud was killed when her hair was caught in a machine in a mill at Springdale.  
I have a newspaper article which is very graphic in it's description of the 
accident.  I may be posting that at a later date.
