Harriet Smedley
At her home in Uwchlan township, yesterday, Harriett Smedley, in her 73d year, 
died rather suddenly of heart trouble.  She and her brother, Chalkley, aged 83, 
and her sister Sara, aged 78, were born on the old farm and always lived 
there.  All were single.  They attended Lionville Friends’ meeting as long as a 
meeting was held there.

DIED- SMEDLEY- in Uwchlan township, on 6th day, 4th mo. 19th, Harriet Smedley, 
in the 73d year of her age.  Relatives and friends of the family are 
respectfully invited to attend the funeral without further notice from her late 
residence, on 3d day, 4th mo 23d.  Leave the house at 11 o’clock a.m.  
Interment at Lionville Friends Burying Ground.

The funeral of Harriet Smedley occurred on Tuesday from her lat residence in 
Uwchlan, and was largely attended.  The pall-bearers were Davis Smedley, 
William Smedley, Charles Smedley, Wayne Smedley and Clinton Smedley.
