Daily Local News, October 9, 1890
SNARE- In Philadelphia, on October 7th, 189, Harold Perot, 
son of Edgar and Georgie Snare, in the 6th year of his age.  
Friends and relatives of the family are respectfully invited 
to attend the funeral from No. 7 North Matlack Street, 
residence of L.D. Hyatt, West Chester, on Friday, 10th, 1890.  
Leave the house at 2 o’clock p.m.  Interment at Oakland.

Ibid:
Harold Snare, the little six-year-old son of Edward Snare, of 
Philadelphia, formerly of West Chester, was last March bitten 
by a dog which had hydrophobia.  The little boy died on Tuesday, 
October 7th, from the effects of the dog’s bite.  His remains 
will be brought to West Chester on Friday for interment
