Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, without further notice,from his late residence, Seventh day, the 21st inst.,at two o'clock p.m. Allen Speakman- At Rivercroft Claymont Del., this morning, Allen Speakman, who had been a well known plumber in Wilmington, died in his 71st year. He married Susan Hickman of this county. A son and a daughte survive him. Allen Speakman- Allen Speakman who was well-known in chester County, died on Thursday morning. he leaves a wife. Deceased was a member of The Society of Friends'. John Speakman, C.N. Speakman,Mrs. Sara Stoner and Miss Mary Speakman of Coatesville are brothers and sisters of the deceased. This morning several West Chester residents went to Claymont Del., to attend the funeral of Allen Speakman, of that place, who died a few days since. Among them were Burgress C.H. Pennypacker, Edward H. Hall, and wife, A.P. Hall and wife, Ronald Smedley and wife and others. The deceased was a former resident of Chester County and had many relatives at Coatesville and other places.He was a successful business man.
