F.B. Speakman died Wednesday. She was native of Marietta her maiden being Spangler.She is survived by one daughter Mrs. Ida Coyle of Lancster and one son Fred speakman of Coatesville, and five grandchildren. Additional Comments: date over clipping is 10/1/1904 ---------------------------------- September 28 1904 Mrs Anna Martha Speakman After an illness of about a year Mrs. Anna Martha Speakman, widow of Col. Frank B. Speakman, died at her late home, corner First Avenue and Main Street, yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock. the deceased was born in Marietta,Lancaster County, her maiden name being Spangler. She was in her 63d year. Mrs. Speakman was of a kind disposition and enjoyed a large circle of friends. The deceased was a consistent member of the Church of the Trinity. One son, F.W. Speakman of Coatesville; Mrs.John A. Coyle of Lancaster, a daughter;one brother, John Spangler, of Lancaster and one siter, Mrs. L.S. haldeman, of Marrietta, Lancaster county survive her. The funeral will be held on Saturday. Speakman-Entered in to rest September 28, 1904, Anna Martha Spangler, wife of Col F.B.Speakman. Funeral from her late residence, Coatesville,Pa. on Saturday, October 1st at 10:30 a.m. Interment private. Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Anna Martha Speakman, widow of Col.F.B. Speakman took place this morning from her late home, corner First Avenue and Main Street. Services were conducted by Rev.Arthur Wilson Wilde, restor of the Church of the Trinity. The pall bearers were S.H. Scott, John Speakman, Max. Steinwachs, N.H. Stone, Louis Henson, and Hugh E. Stone. Interment was made at Fairview Cemetery.
